Michael Meade, a student at Connecticut College, combined his artistic abilities with his passion for ending hunger and poverty. Michael cast molds of Santas and leaves and created a "Giving Forest". He raised funds for Heifer and had, as he put it, "some very profound and important discussions about world hunger and social injustices as well as the importance of giving as a means of healing these injustices."
