Disney – Give a Day – Get a Day Heifer Volunteer Opportunity

Disney Parks is giving a free day at any of their parks to volunteers who complete a listed volunteer project. The Northeast Connecticut Heifer Community Volunteer group has been accepted by Disney to manage volunteer opportunities.

The first project I have listed is the Heifer International Poster Display. I have 83 people signed up as of today.

Heifer Community Meeting – Tuesday January 19th – 6:30 PM - Putnam Library
Join us to learn about Heifer International and our mission to work with communities to end hunger and poverty and care for the earth.

We will discuss our 2010 events calendar. We will also review our recent visit to Heifer’s FRESH project in New London, CT.
